Changes hit The Pages

This week there are some changes to several of the features you've grown to love. In an effort to streamline the way that users access The AMC Pages, we've altered the page layout of The Daily Recaps, The Scoop, and several other pages within the site.

On the Recaps page, we've broken down the page into five individual sections. When you first access the Daily Recaps page, you'll be presented with the most recent recap posted to the site. If you need to read a previous recap, simply use the menu at the top of the page to access that day's recap. For ease of use, we're leaving all of the previous day's summaries up on the site. For example, after Monday, the 24th's recap is posted, the recaps from the 18th through the 21st will remain posted. Those recaps will be replaced on a day-to-day basis. The Daily Recaps Archives will continue to archive the full week of recaps from Monday through Friday.

On The Scoop, each of the many Scoop sections now has its own page. For example, the spoilers, the Two Scoops, Appearances, and other sections have been separated. Some users enjoy reading the Appearances or Two Scoops commentary, but they do not want to be tempted by the spoilers. Now, that will never be an issue.

By breaking down the pages, access to the site should be speedier. No longer will uses need to wait or wade through long pages. Content is clear, concise, and smaller pages mean faster access.

As with any change, it'll take some time for everyone to get used to the new layout. We're confident that over time, you'll find the new format easy to use and much more enjoyable.

Users using Netscape or Internet Explorer should not experience any problems.
